"Orchid Greenhouse" is a project conceived and created in Tuscany, Italy. The result of a long research and collaboration between technicians and skilled craftsmen. Its main distinctive feature is the innovative creation of a unique and precious fabric, composed of 78% bamboo and 22% pure silk - two raw materials whose bond is strengthened by very distant and extremely fascinating stories and tales.
Suffice it to say that the introduction of sericulture into Europe began around 550 AD,
thanks to the ingenuity of two monks who, hiding silkworms in the hollow of some bamboo canes, reached Constantinople, bringing as a gift to the Emperor Justinian this precious treasure of the Orient.
